A Night of Laughter
Youth for Christ will hold the 10th annual Comedy Café on Friday, April 17th at Topeka Bible Church in the lower-level auditorium (See event details at the bottom of this page). When was the last time you laughed so hard it hurt? Our featured comedian this year is the amazing local comedian, Connie Hall! Connie connects with people of all ages and has made people laugh in the Topeka area for over a dozen years. We hope you can join us. The YFC Comedy Café is an annual fundraiser that includes entertaining comedy whilst enjoying coffee, desserts, and an entertaining program that highlights the YFC ministry. It provides the opportunity for anyone to invest in the lives of Topeka teens. It will be an unforgettable night packed with jokes, fellowship, family, delicious treats, and community.
Connie Hall
Meet our comedian
Connie Hall was a stay-at-home mom of 3, and once her children flew the coop in 2015, she decided empty-nesting wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In 2016, she decided to host a 16-year-old American-born Haitian for his junior and senior year of high school. A substitute teacher for over 20 years, Connie enjoys the moldable brains of 8th graders the most and is known to turn substituting into a full-time job, as kids are her favorite pastime. She serves on the Women's Council of her local church. She has been performing comedy in the Topeka area for over a dozen years. Connie has performed for several church events in the area, including "Galentine LOL" at her home church and our 2019 Comedy Café. Connie loves to support teens and help lead them to Christ through support and comedy. After being accidentally funny all her life, Connie is ready to make you laugh and have fun.

To be a Table or Event sponsor, click the SPONSOR REGISTRATION button below, submit your information, and pay online or make checks payable to Topeka Youth For Christ and return to TYFC by Monday, April 13, 2026.
