A Night of Laughter
Youth for Christ will hold the 9th annual Comedy Café on Friday, April 11th at Topeka Bible Church in the lower-level auditorium (See event details at the bottom of this page). When was the last time you laughed so hard it hurt? Our featured comedian this year is the amazing and hilarious Pete O'Shea! Pete connects with people of all ages and will make this an unforgettable evening for everyone! We hope you can join us. The YFC Comedy Café is an annual fundraiser that includes entertaining comedy whilst enjoying coffee, desserts, and an entertaining program that highlights the YFC ministry. It provides the opportunity for anyone to invest in the lives of Topeka teens. It will be an unforgettable night packed with jokes, fellowship, family, delicious treats, and community.
Pete O'Shea
Meet our comedian
Pete O'Shea has provided Customized Clean Comedy for over 35 years now and is ecstatic to perform for us. He has hosted several comedy shows for nonprofits, raising over thousands of dollars for many great causes. He loves to perform at churches and for ministries to raise money and serve the Lord. In his words, "It's much more than a job for me, it's a calling or even a mission." Not only has Pete performed for many clubs, colleges, and TV appearances, he has also opened for people like Dennis Leary and Kevin James. All he wants is for people to laugh and forget about their troubles for a little while. "I'm a storyteller in every single way you can make a living at it. I need to make people laugh, it's my purpose. I live to lift people up," O'Shea said. Pete cannot wait to show off his new jokes and hilarious impressions for our Comedy Café. To be a Table or Event sponsor, click the SPONSOR REGISTRATION button below, submit your information, and pay online or make checks payable to Topeka Youth For Christ and return to TYFC by Friday, April 4th, 2025.
